I undertake restoration work on old or modern pieces. Be it a general 'spruce-up' or a repair.

^ A victorian Van Ingen Leopard skin rug with extensive damage all over and requiring a major lower jaw rebuild.

A victorian Aligators head which was literally crumbling away.

Having done the repair and a general clean/touch up, matching the body colour was the most difficult part!

Victorian Gharial. An unusual restoration project and a very rare specimen!

It had a detatched left limb, a lost right eye and a film of  collected dirt and dust all over it's body and teeth from over the years or possibly over a centry! The black, crudely blown glass eye(s) were replaced with more appropriate glass eyes. The limb was re-attatched and part modelled. An all over body clean and careful touch up paint. A cavity refill, and finally a teeth clean! Pictures are of Before and After..

Severely stained from having spent many decades in an estate house's smoking room!
